Wedding photography brings endless beautiful humans into my life – I think this is why I love my job more than anything. I met Darragh and Eva for coffee a week before their wedding – the plans were made, the schedule, the timeline and we drank ice coffee and created a friendship over an hour and then I knew this would be a classic . Two great personalities, Darragh with a heart of gold, a man that adores his girl, treats her like royalty, Eva a fountain of good energy, fun, love for life and her people.
Harvey’s Point is a dream Donegal wedding venue, the luxury flows along the banks of the picturesque Lough Eske – the Donegal hills yonder, the fine food, the endless attentiveness of Samantha, Molly and the wedding squad. Two more wee things that make a massive impact to me – a wee pitstop to Biddy’s on the gap for a wedding day stout, and the Harvey’s Point dessert room – where the smell of sugar and joy greet you at the door (they say there are up to 30 desserts waiting in that chamber of happiness…wow !)
Have a peep at the photos – moments of happiness and family goodness, moments and memories of a day of high craic and friendships – a heaving dancefloor – and didn’t Darragh lift his bride off her feet at the climax of the first dance and better still a wee granny on the stage singing Abba – as good as entertainment gets.
