April is a fine month for a wedding, and we tasted it’s goodness with friends and family on the balcony overlooking the sea, seagulls, cocktails and craic. I could have easily mistook such a scene for a wedding in Spain. Donegal in the sun, surely it’s as good as it gets. The ceremony was in the main Ocean suite, overlooking Lough Foyle, sparkling in the springtime sun. Friends and family gathered, the energy was beautiful, folk glad of this marriage, glad of the sunshine on their faces. We were able to use the blacony for family photos, overlooking the water – friends, mums, dads, brother, and sisters from both side, cocktails and pints in hand. We then took a wander to the pier across the golf course for photos. On the rocks, by the old fishing boats and took some shelter for cuddles and craic beneath the great mature trees that line the coast.
